In July 2024, In-Road achieved a new milestone in the digital transformation of the chemical industry by successfully securing a project with BASF in Taiwan. This collaboration highlights the recognition of In-Road’s technological expertise and service capabilities by a global chemical giant, laying a solid foundation for future market expansion in Taiwan.

BASF, a world leader in the chemical sector, operates multiple production sites and R&D centers in Taiwan, covering areas such as chemicals, plastics, specialty materials, coatings, agricultural solutions, and oil and gas. Its products are widely used in industries including automotive, construction, electronics, packaging, and healthcare. BASF’s R&D centers in Taiwan focus on developing and applying new materials and technologies to meet evolving customer needs. In-Road, a company specializing in digital solutions for the chemical industry, brings years of experience and technical expertise. The project with BASF Taiwan employs a hybrid ‘offline-online’ cooperation model, leveraging digital technologies to optimize production processes, enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality and safety.

In addition, before its deployment at BASF Taiwan, In-Road had already carried out cooperation with several Taiwanese-funded chemical enterprises on the Chinese mainland.
