In‑Road 2026 Summer Internship Program Concludes with Success – Deepening University‑Industry Collaboration to Cultivate Future Talent
2026-09-10
In late August, In‑Road successfully concluded its 2026 summer internship program. Outstanding students from East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST) completed a two‑month intensive internship at In‑Road’s Shanghai and Ningbo offices, demonstrating solid professional competence and a proactive work ethic, and delivering high‑quality results. As a key practical component of ECUST’s “Jingmiao Program” – which integrates on‑campus and off‑campus joint training – this internship program fully embodied the deep exploration and fruitful outcomes of university‑industry collaboration in talent development.

Rooted in Industry Needs, Building a Real‑World Platform

In‑Road places great emphasis on nurturing young talent and is committed to cultivating interdisciplinary professionals who combine theoretical knowledge with practical skills for the chemical digitalisation sector. This summer internship leveraged the company’s dual‑hub presence in Shanghai and Ningbo, adopting a flexible model that combined online and offline real‑time interaction with remote collaboration. This enabled the interns to immerse themselves in the front line of the industry across different locations. From requirements analysis and solution design to system development and data insights, every intern participated as a genuine project contributor, experiencing the complete lifecycle from concept to delivery and gaining valuable hands‑on experience in authentic business scenarios.

Diverse Disciplines, All‑Round Growth

During the internship, the students were assigned to various research and development tracks, where they engaged in in‑depth practice in their respective fields. From cutting‑edge technology research and engineering implementation to product design and data‑driven decision‑making, the paths were diverse, yet the growth was shared – no participant remained a mere “observer”; each became a true builder of the projects. The company assigned experienced mentors to every intern, providing professional guidance and positive encouragement throughout the journey. The mentors highly commended the interns’ performance, noting their strong learning agility, rapid onboarding, proactive problem‑solving, and ability to independently complete whole functional modules with deliverable outcomes.

Beyond Technology – A Career‑Shaping Experience

The value of the internship extended far beyond technical skill enhancement. At In‑Road, the students experienced an authentic work rhythm and team collaboration – from project syncs and technical reviews to cross‑functional coordination and retrospective meetings. They came to understand that the birth of an innovative product relies on teamwork and collective synergy, not individual effort alone. This experience not only honed their professional capabilities but also provided tangible, concrete references for their future career choices.
As a technology enterprise founded by seasoned chemical research scholars, chemical plant operations experts, and IT professionals, In‑Road deeply recognises the importance of talent development for the advancement of the industry. The company has long been dedicated to digital solutions for the chemical sector, holding over 90 software copyrights and invention patents, and has been recognised as a “Specialised and Sophisticated” enterprise in Shanghai. We firmly believe that continuous investment in talent cultivation is the only way to inject sustained innovation vitality into the industry.

Completion Marks a New Beginning

At the end of August, In‑Road hosted a graduation and recognition ceremony for the internship program. Mr. Chen Hao, Chief Operating Officer, together with the mentoring team, attended the event, affirming the interns’ achievements and sharing insights on professional growth. During the ceremony, the interns presented their reflections and key takeaways – from initial nervousness and curiosity to later confidence and composure, each presentation mirrored the visible progress made over the summer. The company presented each intern with a completion certificate and a commemorative gift, while also awarding certificates of appreciation to the dedicated mentors.
Graduation is not an end, but a new beginning. In‑Road warmly welcomes more outstanding university students to join us. Regardless of your academic background, if you are passionate about chemical digitalisation and driven by a spirit of technological innovation, In‑Road offers a broad platform and real‑world opportunities for your professional growth. Together, let us move forward on the path of industrial intelligence.
